Capsular Contracture and Ruptured Gel Implants*

Procedure Details

Thin Patient

Patients who are thin and do not have much of their own breast tissue often need to have something done other than just removing or replacing implants. Because the skin has stretched so much, a lift is typically needed to tighten the skin and reposition the nipple. An implant fills in the breast pocket and restores upper pole fullness. Some people choose not to replace the implants but prefer to have fat transferred to the breasts. However, options may be limited for very slender patients who don't have much fat!
